There are so many real-world problems that can be solved by DL that huge corporations aren’t solving. There are countless startups trying to solve an array of issues and improve efficiency in countless industries, and many of these fail - not due necessarily to a poor idea or execution, but they are often under funded and understaffed. The CEOs of these companies are not necessarily AI experts, but are experts in their own industry from artists, to healthcare professionals, scientists, retail managers and many more.
