Jason Kingdon is a long standing AI entrepreneur; from early 1990's he was co-founder of UCL's Intelligent Systems Lab, creators of Intelligent Hybrid Systems, he led one of the world's first deployments of Neural Nets for live financial forecasting. In 1995 he was CEO/co-founder of big data/intelligent system company Searchspace, one of the fastest growing technology companies at that time, the creators of Intelligent Transaction Monitoring Systems –which to this day are the global standard for money laundering/terrorist finance detection within the top tier banks. He is an early stage investor, chairman of Blue Prism the creators of “software robots”; an investor and co-founder of Telectic, (Imperial Innovations backed) developing technology for automated interpretation and re-purposing of World Wide Web content. He is author of Intelligent Systems for Financial Forecasting, inventor of learning and optimisation algorithms, and author of key patents – including the automated detection of robots (as in CAPTCHA). He is an EY entrepreneur of the year.
