Laura is Head of Innovation Link at GB energy regulator Ofgem. The Innovation Link is a new ‘one-stop-shop’ for energy sector innovators to help them navigate the regulatory implications of their ideas. Prior to this, Laura managed large programmes in transmission investment and transmission policy including a portfolio of £3bn of new interconnector projects. She also led Ofgem’s work on the future role of the System Operator and created the ‘enhanced SO’ model for National Grid. Previously in the water sector, Laura developed a new business installing solar farms across water utility operational sites. Laura holds an MSc from Imperial College London and a BSc from the University of Nottingham.
