Arturo Devesa is the CEO & Founder of MedWhat, a medical artificial intelligence company building an artificial intelligent doctor that anwers medical and health questions. Mr. Devesa has a Bachelor in Finance and a Masters of Science in Economics and Econometrics from Florida Atlantic University. Arturo was also as a teaching faculty in statistics and information technology for four years at Florida Atlantic University. Arturo won the 2011 Florida Atlantic University Business Plan Competition with his startup MedWhat, where he received $30,000 and recognition from the event sponsor, AT&T Mobility CEO and alumni of FAU, Mr. Ralph de la Vega. Arturo moved afterwards from Florida to Palo Alto to continue developing MedWhat at Stanford University’s Medical School, where he did research on Stanford NCBO’s Bioportal. In 2013, Arturo and his startup were accepted into StartX, Stanford’s prestigious startup accelerator.
