AI in Manufacturing Production: Challenges and Opportunities
Data is the proverbial new oil in general and Industry 4.0 is all about industrial data, from start to finish. Obviously, when we speak about data, we mean actionable insights and data driven intelligence, this is where Artificial Intelligence (or Augmented Intelligence) comes into picture. The application of AI is vast, and the potential of applying them in manufacturing use cases is immense. However, bringing AI into industrial processes is not as easy as buying a new piece of equipment or buying a new robot. There is a fair amount of work that needs to be done to ensure that the intelligence is embedded in the processes appropriately. This talk will cover some of the challenges and opportunities for AI in manufacturing production.
