Temo is a PhD Researcher at the Singapore-ETH Future Cities Laboratory. He is currently working on the Big-Data MATSim project, a Big Data-driven Agent-based Simulation platform for Transport Planning. Trained in the fields of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, his research interest relies in using methods derived from these disciplines to improve the liveability in cities with a special focus on urban transportation systems. He has a Masters degree from The University of Sheffield, UK, in Computational Intelligence and Robotics. He obtained the Bechtel Prize for his dissertation: A probabilistic model to verify users’ identity through Differential Privacy, a collaboration with a Personal Data start-up based in London.
