Deep Learning for Improving Ads Quality
Sugato Basu is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google. He leads a team that is focused on applying Machine Learning to a variety of problems in Ads Quality - Auction optimization, User modeling, Creative Quality and Advertiser modeling. In this talk, he will present some applications where Deep learning is being used to improve Ads Quality at Google, and discuss some specific modeling challenges.
Before Google, Sugato spent a year at SRI working on CALO (precursor to SIRI). He got his PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
