Autonomous Driving Algorithms Into Fast Industrialization, Examples and Key Challenges
With its early autonomous car prototype, the Link&Go, AKKA Research showed in 2012 its intention to contribute in the evolution of the automotive industry. Since then, it has gained more and more competences in engineering autonomous functions that came from the research field and transfer them to the main actors of the automotive industry. In this presentation, a new methodology for path generation, for specifiable machine learning and for autonomous system architecture will be overviewed in order to outline the remaining challenges of autonomous driving industrialization.
Dr. Guillaume Trehard received a Ph.D. in real time Informatics, Automatics and Robotics from Mines ParisTech (France) in 2016. He is working in the Autonomous driving field since 2012, mostly at INRIA, and now works at AKKA technologies, close to car manufacturers both on ADAS industrialisation and Autonomous prototyping. He is a technical referent for perception algorithms and system engineering of automated vehicles.
