Dr. Tin Lun Lam is currently a CEO and founder of NXROBO, a company that specializes in enriching everyone’s family life by robotic technologies. He received his Ph.D. Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on the areas of human-machine interface, intelligent control, field robotics, and novel mechanism design. He has extensive experience on development of robotic and automation systems, such as family robot, telepresence robot, tree-climbing robot, four-wheel independent steering and driving vehicle, unmanned sea surface vehicle, industrial 6-axis robotic arm system, and rescue robot. Based on his works, he has published two monographs, five international journal papers, over twenty international conference papers from major international journals and conference proceedings in robotics and automation, and over ten granted patents.
