As Vice President, Health Strategy and Partnerships, Alison is Vector’s corporate lead for health strategy, overseeing health research collaborations, health data partnerships and health AI application projects. She also leads workshops and courses focused on the leadership and management of research at the University of Toronto where she is Assistant Professor (status). Previously, she held senior roles at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) and Ontario’s health ministry, and worked for seven years in multinational pharmaceutical R&D. Alison holds a combined HBSc in Biochemistry and Chemistry (McMaster), a PhD in Organic Chemistry (Western University) and completed a fellowship with the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement EXTRA program.
